From the bench to the atelier: since 2005
A path that began at a goldsmith’s bench in the Grand Bazaar has become an atelier designing and making gold, diamond and silver jewelry for brands, jewelers and private clients.

A craft learned in the Grand Bazaar
OSKA’s story began in 2005 at a goldsmith’s bench in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar. Our founder, Ali Osman Kalaycı, entered the trade as an apprentice. The first years were spent with 18K gold: plain mountings and finished jewelry straight from the bench.
Jewelry making has no textbook; the master shows and the apprentice learns by doing. How a piece sits in the hand, how a stone seats and how a clasp will work years later are learned at the bench. The habits formed in those years lie behind everything we make today.
2023: OSKA is founded
After years of working and maturing at the bench, he founded OSKA in 2023. He no longer only makes jewelry but carries responsibility for every stage, from a model’s first drawing to its final polish. OSKA is registered with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
Today we combine the same hand craftsmanship with CAD design, sampling and production runs. Casting, filing, soldering, stone setting and finishing are followed in one atelier, with one eye.

Drawing, CAD, sample, approval and production. Every piece is drawn properly, seen as a sample, then produced.

From sample to production
Technical development, sample review and quality control scope are defined per project. The approved reference anchors production discussions; delivery timing and commercial terms require team approval.
